⚽ New coaching course: Everton U16s

We are delighted to letyou knowthat a brilliant new and exclusive coaching course has gone live on CV Academy!

In this quality session, Evertons lead Under-16 coach Scott Phelan takes his players through a series of practices that focus on creating central overloads, in order to progress play into attacking areas.

Following a video briefingfor the players and a warm-up and technical activation, Phelan leads a build-up transfer game where players canprogress the ball using midfield pivots. The second practice is a build-up wave game, using a midfield boxto overload, with the aim ofcreatingandfinishing an attack. The final practice is a 9v9 themed game, in whichone team hasa midfield box, against anopposition usingvarious formations to challenge the ability to overload centrally.

It is an excellent session that focuses on the key details that will enable players and teams to progress the ball through the pitch, using central overloads. We hope you enjoy it!
